She was age 29 and unmarried, living with her parents in Petersburg, Virginia in 1860. ®2075She was living at home taking care of her parents in 1862. ®136 She lived with her parents until at least 1865. ®134 ®136 Her mother died in Petersburg in 1864, and in 1865, Dr. Beckwith and his daughters Cornelia and Nancy went to live with his daughter Katherine Spaulding, at Riverdale (now The Bronx), NY. ®134 ®2074 Dr. Beckwith died in the Bronx in 1870. On 1 June 1880 Cornelia Beckwith was 30, single and lived with her sister Nancy C. at the home of her sister Kate Spalding in New York City. ®2734Cornelia did not die until 1907. Where did she live in the interim?
