Her godfather was her uncle, Joseph Lapointe, and her godmother was Isabelle Himand, daughter of Thomas Himand. ®3938She and her family moved to Bay City, Michigan in 1890 ®3274 where the family lived at 808 Monroe Street. ®3274 In 1900 she was at school in Bay City, Michigan and could read, write and speak English. ®3274 In 1900 she moved with her mother and siblings to Bayfield, Wisconsin. She lived in Bayfield at the time of the death of her father on 11 June 1908. ®3277 On 15 April 1910 she and Joe lived with the Howard West family on Fourth Street in Bayfield, Wisconsin. They had been married three years and she had two children with none living. ®4284On 14 Jan 1911 her husband Joe worked in Virginia, Minnesota and they lived there with her brother Eugene. They moved to Ironwood, Michigan in 1921 and lived on West Pewabic Street, Ironwood, Michigan for the rest of their lives. He emigrated from English Canada with his family as a young boy to Bay City, Michigan. On the 1910 US Census of Bayfield, Wisconsin, Joseph P. & Marie L. Larivere lived on Fourth Street with Howard and Fidelia West and the three West children. Joe was working as a sawyer in a lumber mill. ®4284 On 14 Jan 1911 Joe worked in Virginia, Minnesota and they lived with her brother Eugene LaPointe. On 12 September 1918 they lived in Bayfield, Wisconsin and he worked in the saw mill for Wachsmuth Lumber Company. ®4307They moved to Ironwood, Michigan in 1921. On 1 April 1930 Joseph Larivera, 43, a sawyer in a lumber mill, lived at a house he rented for $25 at 349 West Larch Street, Ironwood, Michigan. Living with him were his wife Mary, 41, Phillip, 19, Elaine, 8, and Joyce, 2 years and 2 months old. ®4300They lived on West Pewabic Street, Ironwood, Michigan at the time of his death in 1969.
