Annette emigrated from Norway at age 7 with her three sisters and her mother in 1894. ®9713 Agnetta Mikkelson (sic) attended Bayfield Public Schools as a 7 year old on 4 January 1894. ®4872 Nettie Mickelson Brown lived with her mother and stepfather John Brown, who married in 1896, until until she married Harry Wilson in 1908. ®9714 She was Aggie H. in 1900 and Nettie in 1905. On 15 April 1910 Nettie Wilson had been married for 2 years and had borne 2 children, Lillian, 1 year and 11 months and Arnold M., 1 month, both alive. ®9981 On 1 January 1920 Nettie H. Wilson, a 32 year old widow born in Norway lived in a house she owned on Fifth Street in Bayfield, Wisconsin. She had emigrated in 1892 and become a citizen by marriage to a U. S. citizen in 1908. She lived with her daughters, Anna B. Wilson, 13, Lillian E. Wilson, 10 and Mildred M. Wilson, 7. A son, Arnold M. Wilson had been born and died in 1911. The children’s father, Harry Wilson had been born in 1883 in the District of Columbia and died in Bayfield in 1919. ®8588 On 1 April 1930 Nettie Wilson, a 43 year old widow lived in a house she rented for $25 per month on 3rd Street in Bayfield, (the original Knight home at the north east corner of Washington and 3rd Street). Her single daughters Lillian, 21 and Mildred, 17 and 6 boarders lived with her. (Mildred Anderson who married Ernest La Pointe boarded with her from 3 September 1929 until she married Ernest La Pointe in August 1930.) Anna had married and left home. Nettie had emigrated in 1892, married at age 20, and was a naturalized citizen. ®9982 Nettie Wilson was the head housekeeper at Pureair Sanatorium near Bayfield for many years during the 1950’s and 1960’s during which time she owned the Allen Fuller mansion at Rittenhouse Avenue and 3rd Street in Bayfield. Her daughter Lillian Green and Lilllian’s two children, William Green and Ann Marie Green lived with her at that time.

On 15 April 1910 H. B. Wilson, a 26 year old book keeper for a lumber company lived in Red Cliff, Wisconsin. He and his wife of 2 years, Nettie, 22, had 2 children both still alive, Lillian, 1 year and 11 months and Arnold M., 1 month old. H. B. and both of his parents had been born in Washington, District of Columbia. ®9981 On 12 September 1918 Harry Burton Wilson was a 35 year old foreman for the Wachsmuth Lumber Company in Bayfield, Wisconsin. He was married to Nettie Wilson, was tall and slender with blue eyes and light colored hair. ®9994
