On 1 June 1880 Amelia Winterer, 30, lived with her husband William, 32, and children Theressa, 5, Wm. A., 2, and Blanche, 6 months in Philadelphia. Amelia had been born in Pennsylvania, her father in Prussia and her mother in Pennsylvania. ®12032 There is no 1890 Census. On 1 June 1900 Amelia Winterer, 50, born May 1850 in Pennsylvania had been married for 27 years and had borne six children, all still alive. Her father had been born in Germany and mother in Pennsylvania. She lived at 1428 McKean Street, Philadelphia with her husband William A. Winterer, 52, and their children Blanche, 20, George H., 18, Emma F., 15, and Randall S. H., 12. ®4000On 15 April 1910 William had died and Amelia Winterer, a 60 year old widow born in Pennsylvania whose father had been born in Germany and mother in Pennsylvania was the head of a house she moved to and owned with a mortgage at 644 Conestoga Street in the 46th Ward of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She had borne six children, all still alive, four of whom lived with her. Blanche A., 30, George H., 28, Samuel J. R., 22, and Theresa C. Hahn, 35, widowed and her daughter Marion W. Hahn, 12. comprised the household. Emma, now 25 no longer lived with the family. ®4001 On June 5, 1917, Amelia H. Winterer lived with S. J. Randall Winterer, age 29, at 3408 - 20th Avenue South, Minneapolis, Minnesota. He was married and supported a wife, a child (William Athle) and his mother (Amelia H.). ®4003 On 1 January 1920 Amelia H. Winterer, a 71 year old widow had moved to Jenkintown, Pennsylvania where she lived at the home of her son in law Jenks? B. Robinson and daughter Theresa W. Robinson at 236 Mather Avenue. Neither son S. J. Randall Winterer or William Athle Winterer lived with her. ®4005

Winterer, age 2?, lived in Philadelphia with his father, Wm. Winterer, 55, mother Theresa, 55, and sister Celestina, 2?. ®12003 In 1874 William A. Winterer and Theresa Winterer lived at her hotel at 475 North Third, Philadelphia, and are partners in William Winterer’s Son & Co., liquor, at 471 North Third. ®11998 On 1 June 1880 Wm. A. Winterer was a 32 year old wine dealer, born in Pennsylvania, whose parents had both been born in Baden, Germany. He lived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with his wife Amelia, 30, children Theressa, 5, Wm. A., 2, Blanche, 6 months and a servant, Elizabeth Fisher, 20. ®12032 By 1884 William Winterer’s Son & Co. occupied 471, 473, and 475 North Third at the corner of Noble. There is no 1890 Census but the 1890 Philadelphia city directory lists William Winterer’s Son & Co. wines, at 475 North Third. Theresa is no longer listed as a partner. The 1893 Philadelphia city directory lists only William A. Winterer who is a teller at the Custom House and resides at 475 North Third which is also the address of the Winterer Wine & Liquor Bottling Company. In 1895 William A. Winterer is a teller at the Custom House and lived at 989 North Fifth in Philadelphia. No Winterer liquor business exists. On 1 June 1900 William A. Winterer, 52, born March 1848 in Pennsylvania, was a paying teller, who lived in a house he rented at 1428 McKean Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He had been married for 27 years and both of his parents had been born in Germany. He lived with Amelia, age 50, Blanche, age 20, George H., 18, Emma F., 15, and Randall S. J., 12. ®4000 In 1905 William A. Winterer was a teller who lived at 5230 Walton Avenue. He was listed as single and lived with Amelia Winterer at 1821 Porter Street in Philadelphia prior to his death there on 11 January 1910 at the age of 61 years, 9 months and 28 days. He worked as a paying teller at the sub treasury at the time of his death. ®12033
