He drowned at 8:45 P.M. in Lake Vermillion near the Isle of Pines. He fell off the roof of an excursion boat chartered by 12 men. They had no children.

In 1943-4 she was a widow who boarded with her father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Johanna Matkovich at 314 3rd St. South, Virginia. She subsequently married William E. Heisel, owner of Heisel Brothers Plumbing. She was Bill Heisel’s second wife and had no children.
