He was from Hadley when they married in 1792. ®687 Jacob was a cooper. ®214On 4 August 1800 Jacob and his wife were both 26 through 44 years of age and lived in Belchertown, Massachusetts with 1 boy and 3 girls all less than 10 years of age. ®904 In 1801 they moved to Northfield, Franklin County Massachusetts ®1 from Hadley. ®214 He sold land on the bank of the Swift River in Belchertown to Erastus Kentfield on 27 June 1806. ®926On 6 August 1810 Jacob and his wife are both age 26 through 44 and now lived in Northfield with 1 boy under 10, 2 girls 10-15, and 1 boy and 1 girl each 16 through 25 years old. ®411 He was bequeathed five dollars in the will of his father, Noah Moody, dated 19 Sep 1811. ®423 On 7 August 1820 Jacob and his wife were both age 45 or older and lived in Northfield with 1 boy under 10, and 1 male and 2 females 16-26 years old. ®412 On 1 June 1830 Jacob, age 50-60 lives with his son Jacob, Jr.’s family in Northfield. His wife is presumed dead. ®73, ®905He was aged 79 and living with the Elisha and Susan Nash family in Northfield on the 1850 Census. ®906 He died on 9 August 1857 of old age at 86 years of age. ®907 ®909
