Oliver Chauncey was from Hadley when their Marriage Intentions were posted on 26 Oct 1751.401 “From this union their [sic] were probably children, but no information concerning them is available at this time, perhaps at a later date when more research is accomplished in later years.”607 Oliver apparently bought or sold no land in Hampshire Co., nor did Huldah.2385

They may have settled in Saybrook, Connecticut.607 but a search of land records did not find them there. 2385 “Her death occurred in Amherst, Mass. The time and place of his decease, I have been unable to ascertain and I am credibly informed of their marriage there was no issue, although a letter from a person distantly connected conflicts with the statement. In the absence of records, her descendants, if any must hereby be omitted.”607 She “died 12 Mar 1756, aged 24 at Amherst, Hmpsh, Mass, she was probably buried in Amherst, Mass, but no record is given.”607
