She was born in Virginia, Minnesota in 1925 and in 1928 moved with her parents to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They lived in Wisconsin for many years and were close friends with cousin Arnold Matkovich and his wife. After moving to Wyoming they used to return to Wisconsin every summer. They lived at 1427 5th West Avenue, Kemmerer, Wyoming 83101in 1990.69
