He had been born in Michigan, his father in Germany and mother in Michigan. Living with him were his 64 year old widowed mother, Pauline E. Heisel, a divorced 35 year old sister Edna G. Elliott, and Hsi son, William E. Heisel, Jr., age 11.

In 1920 she was 16, single, and lived with her widowed mother Anna, 55, and siblings Arthur, 24, Paul, 23, Reuben, 19, Elvira, 28, Blanch, 13, and John, 10, at 216 Eleventh Street South, Virginia, Minnesota.
616In 1930 she was a book keeper at a plumbing shop and lived with her husband John and her mother at 204 1/2 First Street South in Virginia, Minnesota. She was on a trip to the West Coast at the time of John’s drowning in 1939. In 1941-2 she was a widow working as a bookkeeper for Heisel Brothers Plumbing in Virginia and boarded at 1209 5th Avenue North, Virginia, Minnesota. Her brother-in-law, Benedict Patka, was a plumber for Heisel Brothers. In 1943-4 she was a widow who boarded with her father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Johanna Matkovich at 314 3rd St. South, Virginia. She subsequently married William E. Heisel, owner of Heisel Brothers Plumbing. She was Bill Heisel’s second wife and had no children.
