He was from Wethersfield, Connecticut 1346in 1637 where he was the town clerk in 1645, and a Representative from 1646 to 1656. He moved to Hadley, Massachusetts in 1659, was a freeman in 1661 and deacon and first Recorder. He then resided for a few years in Hatfield, Massachusetts, but died in Hadley.58
