He emigrated with his father to Windsor, Connecticut from Scotland before 1644. Windsor was named Dorchester when it was settled in 1633, and renamed in 1637. He removed from Windsor to Northampton in 1655; he was an Engager and a settler in Northfield in 1673.146 He had nine children.146 He was Scotch. He was a Freeman. He lived in Windsor in 1644 and in Northampton in 1653. 228
