She raised her younger brother Leonard after her mother died in 1926 when she was 10 years old. They were very close, talking daily on the telephone until Leonard died in 2001. They were living at 696 Shelter Bay Drive, La Conner, Washington 98257 206-466-4540 243 in her letter to Yvonne La Pointe Moody dated 15 March 2003. At Christmas 2003 she was 89 years old. She has children in Alaska, California and Kamloops, British Columbia. Grandson Lenny was just ordained and is serving a Lutheran Church in rural Minnesota. She has four great grandchildren, Hailey, Kyla, Abigale and Aiden, and a granddaughter Ellen.
