He was from Warren and Hancock Counties, Georgia. In the 1820s James N. Wright, his brother Abednego Wright Jr., and Flewellen were in the 14th Regiment 10th District Militia of Hancock County. In 1820 he was a merchant in Warrentown, Georgia. At a Regimental Court of Enquiry began held in & for the 14th Regt. G. M. at Mrs. Halls in Sparta 13th May 1825 Fluellen Wright was fined $1.00. At a Regimental Court of Enquiry began held in & for the 14th Regiment G.M. at Rhodes & Davis in Sparta Friday the 17th February 1826 Flewellin Wright was fine $1.00. He was in Hancock County for the 1830 census.
