He was given the “land and dwelling whereon I lived” by his father, Dionysius, in his will of 20 March 1780.
485 Albert’s will, signed 7 January 1794 and probated 24 March 1798, mentions brothers Abednego, Meshack, Shadrack, Isaiah, Habakkuk, and sisters Charity Shultz who later married a John Cotton, Peace Brown who later married Abner Willingham, Naomi Mims, Concord Hamilton and Elizabeth Penny Tindall.
