He served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War. He taught art classes at the Buffalo Art Center in Red Cliff and worked surveillance at the Isle Vista Casino in Red Cliff. Robert loved hunting and working on cars and motorcycles. He also enjoyed helping other people and visiting his friends at the Legendary Waters Casino. He was a member of the Red Cliff VFW and the Red Cliff Band of Lake Superior Chippewa. He had 7 grandchildren; Gabriel, Caitlin, Dayton, Dallas, Jennifer, Natalie, and Abbigale and numerous extended family from the Bresette and Montano families. 1948
