“She attended school at the Belanger Settlement School and in Bayfield. Betty graduated from beauty school in Duluth, Minnesota, and was a beautician for many years, owning and operating Betty’s Beauty Salon in Bayfield during the 70s and 80s. On August 7, 1954 she married Thomas Dean BARNINGHAM at St. Francis Church in Red Cliff. They owned and operated Hilltop Orchards and had a hobby farm. They also operated an adult family home at their home from 1988- 2009. Betty was an active member of Holy Family Catholic church in Bayfield, and will be remembered by her family as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker, friend and caregiver to many. Her hobbies included weaving rugs, quilting, cooking and baking.” ®5634
