His wife, Elizabeth, 53, and children John, 26, Elizabeth, 18, Anne, 16, Anthony, 13, Martha, 12, Barbra, 10, and Rosa, 7, live with him.700 On 1 June 1900 John, 60, still farmed in Gilmanton, Minnesota. He had emigrated in 1868, been married 32 years and was a naturalized citizen. He lived with his wife, Elizabeth, 58, and children Ann, 22, Elizabeth 20, Toney, 18, Martha, 16, Barbara, 14, Rosie, 12, and his grand daughter Agnes, 4. 996
