In 1900 John was a 34 year old dealer in ice who was living in a home he owned, without a mortgage, on Second Street in Bayfield, Wisconsin with his wife, Emily, 34, daughter Blanche, 8, son Stanley, 6, daughter Rachelle, 5 and stepdaughter Neva Stahl, 14. His mother and father were from Ireland. John and Emily had been married for nine years, and had 6 children, 4 still living.
®5723 In 1905 John M. Eagen, 38, his wife Emily, 37, his stepdaughter Neva Stahl, 19, and children Blanche, 13, Stanley, 10, Rachel, 9, and Corina, [sic] 4, lived in Bayfield, Wisconsin.
®6385 On 15 April 1910 John M. Engen [sic], a 44 year old truckman had been married to his wife, Emily, 39 for 19 years. They lived with Blanche F., 17, Stanley D., 15, Rachael E., 14, Corrine [sic] E., 8 and Reginald C., 5. Also living with the Engen [sic] family was his now married stepdaughter, Neva E. Snider, 23, and Neva’s son Marshall E., 2, and daughter Virgis, E., 1 year and 1 month old.
®5192On 1 January 1920 John Eagen, a 54 year old plater in a plating company lived with his family at 3100 Longfellow Avenue, Minneapolis, Minnesota. Mrs. Eagen was 53, and the children were Corinne, 17 and Reginald 14, both born in Wisconsin. They also had 2 roomers.
®6386 On 1 April 1930 John M. Eagen was a 65 year old laborer in Lithography who lived with his family in a house he owned worth $2500 at 3100 Longfellow Avenue in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He lived with Emily M., 63, Corinne E., 29, and Reginald K., 24.
