He was a teamster and had accompanied his mother to Ely 8 years and five months before ca 1897. They live next door to the John Matkovich family in Ely, Minnesota. 128 In 1910 he and Mary have just been married and live on Camp Street in Ely in a house he owns next door to the John Matkovich family. He is a 26 year old teamster who owns his own horses. He immigrated in 1894, is a naturalized citizen and speaks and writes English.126

In 1910 she has lost her first child, is 17, immigrated in 1899 and speaks and writes English.126
