She left the parental home between 1 June 1900 and 15 April 1910.
®7379 She graduated from St. Mary’s College, Prairie de Chien, Wisconsin and did graduate work both in the east and at the Sorbonne in Paris. On 1 January 1920 she was 27, single, unemployed and lived with her parents and siblings in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
®7406On 1 April 1930 she lived in Portland, Oregon with her father, mother and brother Herbert. She was age 39, divorced and worked as a bookkeeper in a lumber company, possibly her father’s.
®7407In the 1930’s she ran her own lumber camp in northern California, a business she learned from her father. She took care of her father the last eight years of his life in his Reno home. She traveled with him to Bayfield in the 1940s to see his old home, now called Château Boutin. She traveled extensively in later years and was one of the first women to fly one million miles.
