Alice’s real estate was worth $4000 and personal estate $3000.1811 On 1 June 1880 Horace Moody, a 63 year old book keeper born in New York, lived in Ogdensburg, New York with his wife Martha Moody, age 52 and born in Massachusetts. Horace and Martha’s father and mother were all born in New York. A single 25 year old female servant lived with them, but their children did not.1812

Horace was not married in 1850 and by 1860 they had 2 children, Allice, 7 and Susan W., 2, so were married between 1850 and 1853.1810 On 1 June 1870, Susan W. who would have been 12 no longer lived with them and presumably died. A new child, Lucius had been born also age 12. 1811 By 1 June 1880 no children lived with Martha and Horace.1812
