She still lived with Samuel Slocum, a retired 65 year old merchant with real estate valued at $6000 and a personal estate valued at $80000. Mrs. Slocum had died and the housekeeping was done by a live in servant, Bridget Rogers, 26, born in Ireland.958She never married.954
