Leonard lived with his widowed mother and siblings, Wilfred, Clarence, and Hazel on Fourth Street in Bayfield, Wisconsin in 1930. ®3086 He graduated from Bayfield High School in 1943. ®4872 He was a RMN2 US Navy in World War II, and the Korean War. He received both his undergraduate and masters degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Superior and was a coach, teacher and high school principal, until he retired to Bayfield in 1984. He and his family lived in Glidden, Wisconsin in 1956. From 1960 to 1966 he was principal of the Little Fork-Big Falls, Minnesota High School. He was principal at Mosinee, Wisconsin High School from 1966 to 1984. ®5404 He was the mayor of Bayfield from 1992 to 1994. They lived at 1118 North 4th Street in Bayfield, Wisconsin from 1984 until his death in 1998. ®5374
