On 1 June 1900 they had been married for 4 years and had 2 children, both alive.1164 On 15 April 1910 Bertha Larsen, 40, had been married to Tony for 14 years and had borne 6 children of whom 5 were still alive and lived with them on Fourth Street in Bayfield, Wisconsin. Bertha had emigrated in 1892 and was not a naturalized citizen.1372On 1 January 1920 Bertha was 49, had emigrated from Norway in 1892 and become a naturalized citizen in 1904.1048 On 1 April 1930 Mrs. Bertha Larson was a 60 year old widow who lived in a home she owned worth $800 on 4th Street in Bayfield, Wisconsin. She had married at age 25, emigrated from Norway in 1892 and was a naturalized citizen. She lived with her single daughters Thelma, 17, Adeline, 12, Muriel, 12 and her married son Allen, 28, who had married at age 24. Sigurd, Gilbert, Herbert, Edith and Vivian had left home. 1045 Bertha died in May 1939. 384

On 1 June 1900 Tonery [sic] Larson was a 27 year old fisherman who lived on 4th Street in the Village of Bayfield, Wisconsin. He was a permanent alien and both he and his wife of 4 years, Bertha, 30, had emigrated from Norway in 1892. Their two sons were Sigurd, 3 and Gilbert, 2, both born in Wisconsin.1164 On 1 June 1905 Tony Larson was a 32 year old fisherman, born in Norway, who owned his house in Bayfield with no mortgage. He lived with Bertha, 35, Sigurd, 8, Gilbert, 7, Ellen, [sic] 4 and Herbert, 2. 1336 On 15 April 1910 Tony Larsen, 37, born in Norway, worked as a laborer in the lumber mills and lived in a house on Fourth Street in Bayfield, Wisconsin with his wife of 14 years, Bertha, 40, and Sigurd, 13, Gilbert, 12, Allen, 9, Herbert, 6, Edith, 3 and niece Jeanette Nelson. 19. Jeanette had been born in Norway and emigrated in 1910, Tony had emigrated in 1892 and was a naturalized citizen and Bertha had emigrated in 1892 and was not a citizen. 1372On Tony Michael Larsen’s 18 September 1918 World War I draft registration he is of medium height and build with blue eyes and brown hair. He and his wife Bertha live at Box 434 Bayfield, Wisconsin and Tony is a wheelsman for the Poller Tease [sic] Lumber Company, 1309 Carter Road, Cleveland, Ohio.1150On 1 January 1920 Tony M. Larson was a 46 year old farmer who lived on 4th Street in Bayfield, Wisconsin. He owned his home with no mortgage, had emigrated from Norway in 1892 and become a naturalized citizen in 1904. His family was Bertha, 49, Sigurd A., 23, Gilbert L., 21, Allen D., 19, Herbert B., 16, Edith M., 12, Vivian V., 9, Thelma B., 6, twin daughters Murriel [sic] M. and Delaine J., both 2 years and 8 months and a nephew who emigrated from Norway in 1899, Ole Olson, 27.1048 Tony Larsen died in Bayfield, Wisconsin on 25 September 1928.384
