He lived with his wife Elisebeth [sic], 45, and children Nickless [sic], 21, Jacob, 19, Mary, 17, Frances [sic] 16, Margaret, 14, Barbara, 12, George, 8, Catharen, 5, and Joseph, 3.1450On 1 June 1870 Francis Reott was a 55 year old farmer, born in Bavaria, whose farm was worth $800 and was in Summit, Pennsylvania. He lived with his wife Elizabeth, 54, born in Hesse-Darmstadt, Germany, Barbara, 21, George, 17, Catherine, 14, Joseph, 13, Elizabeth, 8, and Charles, 6. 1448On 1 June 1880 Francis was 66, born in Bavaria and farmed in Summit Township, Pennsylvania, next to the farm of his brother Nicholas. He was a widower and lived with his children Margaret, 35, Geo., 28, Jos. H., 22, Elizabeth, 19, and granddaughter Katie Wiland, 3. Barbara, Catherine, and Charles no longer live with their parents. 1321 On 1 June 1900 Francis was a 86 year old widower who lived on his farm in Summit, Pennsylvania with Marget [sic], 50, George, 48, grand daughter Katherine Wiland, 22, and nephew Hermond Klause, 55. Son Joseph and his wife Mary are on the adjacent farm.1449
