Research notes for Mathias Iyver “Matt” ANDERSON/OPDAHL
Matthias & Carl were said to come to America on the famous ship, Lusitania, but I can find no record. Only about 50 Opdahls are listed among the Ellis Island passengers. Three went to Minneapolis, Minnesota and three to Mount Vernon, Washington. Only one is specifically stated to be from Kristiania [Oslo]431.
Notes for Sophia Christine (Spouse 1)
She was of 1/4 German ancestry. She was a child when he finished college. 431
