Helstrom, 30, born February 1870 in Sweden, lived on Second Street in Bayfield, Wisconsin with Martha, 27, Agness E., 4, Frankie V., 1, John P., 1 month old, and Mamie Lesselyong, 18, servant, Johnie Revoir, 23, boarder, Philo Harington, 21, boarder, and Edward Baird, 25, boarder. Frank was the proprietor of a barber shop who had emigrated in 1884 at age 14 , was a naturalized citizen, and he and Martha had been married for 6 years.1943 None of the Helstrom children attended Bayfield Public Schools, which indicates they left Bayfield by 1902 when Agnes would have been six years old.593 On 1 June 1905 Frank E. Hellstrom [sic], 36, born in Sweden lived in Crandon, Forest County, Wisconsin.
