Josephine M. Tomazin , 87, of Virginia died Sunday, Aug. 8, 1999, at the Arrowhead Health Care Center in Virginia. She was born May 28, 1912, to Frank and Mary (Novak) Pogorelc in Eveleth. She grew up and attended school in Eveleth. On May 24, 1941, she married Anthony T. Tomazin in West Allis, Wis. They made their home in Virginia. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Virginia, KSKJ Lodge 59 of Eveleth and the Virginia Senior Citizens. Survivors include one son, Mark (Georgene) Tomazin of Virginia; two granddaughters, Kara Suzanne Tomazin of St. Cloud and Julie Anne Tomazin of Brooklyn Park; one sister, Carol Novlan of Gilbert; three sisters-in-law, Mary Pogorelc Intihar of Eveleth, Elizabeth Pogorelc of Eveleth and Ann Harrington of Marine-On-St. Croix, Minn.; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony, on July 23, 1978; two sisters, Mary Perushek and Frances Debelak; and two brothers, Tony and Frank Pogorelc.
