She was 2 years old when she moved with her parents from Elmira, New York to Gardner, Kansas in 1887. On 1 March 1895 she was 10 and lived in Gardner, Kansas with her father and mother and brother Leonard, age 16. ®222 Her father died in 1896 when she was 11, and she lived with her widowed mother in a rented house in the city of Gardner in 1900. ®235 They were married in Aledo, Illinois on 1 Jan 1918 by her brother, the Rev. A. E. Moody with her brother Leonard Warren Moody and his wife Helen L. Moody as witnesses. She became a Christian Scientist in 1926. She lived with her husband at 1015 West Street, Emporia, Kansas, at the time of the death of her brother Arnold Edwin Moody in 1928. After her husband’s death in 1929/30 she sold her home in Emporia and moved to Boston, Massachusetts to work in the linen department of her brother George Moody’s department store. She lived in Boston as a widow until she died in 1959. Her will was probated in Suffolk County, Boston, Massachusetts. She was cremated.

He had a public school education in Iowa, and the University of Iowa, and at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. In 1900 he was 16, at school, and lived with his father, mother, and siblings, May, single and age 26, and W. Ray, single and age 21. There were no younger children in 1900. ®262In 1908 he graduated from the Kansas City, Missouri, Dental College. He practiced in Iowa in 1908. He moved to Lyndon, Iowa? In 1913 he moved to Emporia, Kansas, where he met his wife. In 1920 they lived at 513 Rural Street in Emporia, Kansas. They lived at 1015 West Street, Emporia, Kansas in 1928. He was a oral surgeon for the Santa Fe Railway. He died in 1929 of a heart attack in his dental office at age 45. He was known as "the little fat doctor”. He was not a Christian Scientist like his wife, and was buried from the First Presbyterian Church, Emporia, Kansas in the cemetery in Gardner, Kansas where his wife’s parents were buried.
