He lived in Northfield next door to his brother Noah Moody and Noah’s wife. 832 On 1 June 1850 Lucius A. Moody is 45, a mason with a real estate value of $1000. He lives with Sarah, age 35, John F. age 10, Sarah L. age 7 and Lucius L. age 5 months and his single sister-in-law, Mehitable Long, age 23. 343 On the 1 June 1860 census he is a 54 year old mason with real estate valued at $1500 and personal property at $350. His wife Sarah is now 45 and their son "Lowell" L. is age 10. Their daughter Sarah is now dead and their son John now lives with the George A. Ames family in Greenfield, Massachusetts.323 On 1 June 1870 he is 64 and lives alone with his wife Sarah, age 55, in Northfield, Massachusetts. He is a brick mason. His real estate is valued at $1500 and personal property at $400. 318 On 1 June 1880 he is a 75 year old brick mason living in Northfield with his wife Sarah who is 65 and keeping house. There are no children at home.833 Lucius A. Moody died on 29 September 1881 in Northfield at age 76 years 1 month and 3 days of paralysis. He was a brick mason born in Northfield to Isaiah and Phila Moody. 1463

In 1900 she is widowed and living with her son Lowell in Chicago.837 On 15 April 1910 she no longer lives with her son Lowell’s family and has presumably died.835
