Samuel was the son of Elisha and Elizabeth Moodey of Granby. 1882 After marriage they settled in Granby.58 607 They had eleven children born from 1802 to 1823 and recorded in Granby. 2199On the 1810 US Census his household in Granby, Massachusetts consisted he and a female aged 26-44, and 2 boys and 1 girl under 10. 371 He was a possible Dartmouth graduate of 1790, lived in Granby, and was alive in 1847.418 At his death in Granby on 27 November 1853 he was a widowed, 84 year old laborer.1881
