Research
Note: as of May 2014 I can find no evidence that Robert had a son William and a grandson William who emigrated to Newbury, Massachusetts. Robert’s great nephew Samuel Moody, born ca 1634 probably in Hartford, Connecticut has a yDNA haplotype of G2a1a1a3...DYS511=9. The descendants of William Moody of Newbury, Massachusetts have yDNA of R-M269, and therefore William of Newbury and Samuel of Hartford are unlikely to both be descendants of Edmund Moody.

Why was he given lands in the first will and no lands in the second will 2 weeks later?
