®136 After the death of her husband, Elizabeth continued living with her daughter, Elizabeth Armistead, in Fauquier County, Virginia, and is probably buried there as there is no tombstone for her in the Stanly lot in Cedar Grove Cemetery, New Bern.

After the death of his parents as a teenager, he, the oldest of 9,
®134 and his siblings were cared for by other family members. He and his wife moved into the Stanly Mansion on Middle Street during the early 1800’s. It may have been vacant since his parents died in 1789.
