He worked as a setter in a saw mill.496 In 1930 Howard West, 51, lived in a house he owned at 601 10th Street, Virginia, Minnesota with his wife Fidelia, 51, daughter Vivian, 23, son Floyd, 18, daughter Beulah Croll, 28, grandson Robert Croll, 6, grandson William Croll, 3, sister-in-law Leona Bissonette, 45, niece Aili Bissonette, 24, and her daughters Elaine Bissonette, 4, and Corinne Bissonette, 1 year and 3 months old. Howard was a sawyer in a lumber mill, had emigrated to the United States in 1896 and became a naturalized citizen in 1907. His father was from England and his mother from English Canada.487
