“Ephraim Jennings, son of Capt. Ephraim, formerly of Natick, came hither from Ashfield soon after the close of the Rev. War. His aged parents, names not known, were living with him at the time he made his will, which was probated Sept. 24, 1803. He held the office of Lieutenant in the Rev. and had command of a company of Ashfield Men....His home was in East Buckland, the first farm north of the home of Mary Lyon.”688
