Her godfather was Louis Savard and her godmother was her aunt, Lucine McKane. ®4080 On the 1861 Census of Chicoutimi Louis McKee (sic) lived with Delle Bergeron, Clementine McKee, Marie McKee, Caelina McKee, John McKee and Victorine McKee. ®3955 In September 1910 at Port Huron, Michigan, Clementine Tromblay, a 54 year old widow, son David Tromblay, a 30 year old machinist, Fred Perron, a 34 year old teamster, and his wife Alexine Perron, 32 years of age together entered the United States with their destination Chicago, Illinois. Fred Perron’s mother was Anne Perron, 227 Papineau Dr., Montreal, Canada. The last Canadian address for all four was Montreal. ®6562 Louise LaPointe received a postcard from Chicago, Illinois dated December 1911 from her “very dear sister” “My husband and all my children wish a happy and good year” from ---- Tremblay. Louise received another post card from Chicago dated 2 April 1912 from her “dear sister”...she and “my boy” had been sick but now recovered. Her address on 21 September 1913 was 3120 West 38th Street, Chicago, Illinois. ®4348
On the 1920 US Census William, age 69, and Clementine, age 69, Tremblay live at 2958 West 38th Place, Chicago, Illinois. They immigrated to the United States in 1912. They all lived in one half of a duplex rented by their son-in-law Fred Perron, age 47, and his wife Alexema, age 44, who also both immigrated in 1912. Fred was a steam fitter and William a carpenter, both at a packing house. ®6561 At the time of William’s death in 1924 he and Clementine lived at 18 East 18th Street in Chicago. ®6580 Her residence was listed as 3266 Coutand? Street when she died on 7 March 1930 in a Psychopathic Hospital at Wood and Polk Streets in Chicago of senility and dementia of two years duration. She was 80 years and 20 days old and had been in Chicago and the United States for 20 years. ®6577 She died at age 80 according to the records of St.Mar’s Cemetery. ®6579

From 1874 to 1880 he was a farmer in St. Fulgence. On the 25 April 1891 Census of Canada he was a 37 year old carpenter who lived in the St. Antoine Ward of Montréal with his wife Clementine, 39, and children, Alexina, 16, Arthur, 14, and David, 12. ®6564On the 1920 US Census William, age 69, and Clementine, age 69, Tremblay lived at 2958 West 38th Place, Chicago, Illinois. They immigrated to the United States in 1912. They all lived in one half of a duplex rented by their son-in-law Fred Perron, age 47, and his wife Alexema, age 44, who also both immigrated in 1912. Fred was a steam fitter and William a carpenter, both at a packing house. ®6561 At the time of his death he was about 69 years old and a night watchman at the International Furniture Company. He and Clementine lived at 18 East 18th Street in Chicago. He died on Christmas Day 1924 from “shock and injuries” from being “struck and run over by Acute Services Truck” of the “Chicago Fire Department”. ®6580Neither she nor William lived with the Perron’s in 1930. ®6587 He died at age 69. ®6579
Research
William’s death certificate of 1924 says he immigrated 25 years before and had been in Chicago for 20 years. An inquest was held about his death by Cook County Coroner Oscar Wolff with the Certificate of Death 188-? dated 9 January 1925. He died at age 69 according to the records of St.Mary’s Cemetery.
