In 1930 John, 45, lived in the same home he owned in 1920, which is now valued at $1000, with his wife Mary, 44, John, 23, Jennie, 18, Stanley, 14, twins Frank and Theodore, 12, William, 10, and Frances, 6. John and his son John were both employed as iron ore miners, Mary was a housewife and the other children were in school.
