Martin was born in Ohio in February 1889.694 On 1 June 1900 Martin L., 11, lived with his parents and siblings in Acoma, Minnesota. 694 On 15 April 1910 Martin L., 21, his parents Alfred and Gertrude, and his brother John P. had all returned to farm in Norwalk, Ohio. 696 Ottis and Joseph had left home by 1910. Martin and Teressa A. Welch married ca 1915, probably in Cedar Mills, Minnesota. 691On 1 January 1920 Clyde, 1 year and 8 months old lived with his parents Martin and Teressa and Martin’s parents in Norwalk, Ohio. As Clyde was born in Wisconsin ca 15 September 1918, Martin and Teressa had moved to Wisconsin after 1915 and had moved back to Ohio between 15 September 1918 and 1 January 1920.690 On 1 January 1920, Martin was a laborer on his father’s farm in Norwalk, Ohio. On 1 April 1930 Martin L., age 41, no longer lived with his parents. He had married ca 1915 and farmed in Norwalk Township, Ohio with Teressa A., 39, Clyde P., 11, Lois E., 8, and Mary J., 4 years and 8 months old. As Lois E. also was born in Wisconsin ca 1922, they must have returned to somewhere in Wisconsin after 1920, then back to Ohio by 1930.691

Her father was born in Kansas and her mother in Minnesota.690 On 15 April 1910 Tressa A. was 18 and lived with her family on her fathers farm in Cedar Mills, Minnesota. 701
