“Mrs. Charlotte M. Bennis died at 6:50 pm yesterday at her home, 320 First Street, following a lingering illness.
A native of Bayfield, Wisconsin, she had lived here most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Andrew and Elizabeth Schrader Reott. Mrs. Bennis was a member of St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church. Surviving are her husband, A. B. Bennis, three daughters, Mrs. Robert Andre of Meridian, Mrs. Robert Cramer and Mrs. Joseph Tomasovic, both of M.R.10, four brothers, Robert Reott, Butler R.D.4, Clayton, Baltimore, Edward in Florida, and Walter Reott, Midland, and four grandchildren. Friends of Mrs. Charlotte Bennis, 320 First Street, who died Thursday, April 12, 1956 will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham Street, from 7 to 9 pm Friday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Saturday and Sunday. Funeral services will be at 10 am Monday from St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements by Geibel.”1326
