Okey J. born January 1862 in New York and Emily A., born February 1864 in Wisconsin had been married 16 years and they all lived on Minnesota Avenue North in Duluth, Minnesota. Okey worked as a marine captain. The 1900 US Census clearly spells Skavold for Iver, Marie and all seven children.
