In 1920 he was 8 years old and lived with his family in Virginia, Minnesota. 496In 1930 he was single, 18, unemployed and lived in Virginia, Minnesota with his parents and siblings. 487He was a store manager for a dime store chain, first in Virginia, Minnesota, then in Petosky, Michigan and later in Albion, Michigan. He was always called Buster.He enlisted as a Warrant Officer in the US Army on 3 March 1942 at Fort Sheridan, Illinois at which time he was single, 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighed 135 pounds.533 He retired to California and lived at 3082 Calle Pinon, Santa Barbara, California in 1964. Later he lived at 7218 Tuloumme Drive, Goleta, California 93017.
